Angel's Bonnet

Angel's Bonnet is a delicate mushroom with small, pale, bonnet-shaped caps, that quietly thrives on decaying wood in forests and woodlands.
This piece is part of a limited edition collection of etchings created by repurposing juice cartons (Tetrapacks) as the etching surface.

By using discarded materials, the process reflects the natural cycle the fingus itself depends on, finding beauty, texture and new life in what might otherwise be overlooked.
